We are specialists who have been creating value-added solutions exclusively in the seating industry for over forty years.
Our specific training and continuous research in our sector, as well as our active collaboration with European designers and major manufacturers, are skills that we have consolidated over time and place us at a level of knowledge and competence in the industry that no “generalist” design office can offer.
We want to offer you value-added solutions, making available the skills and resources of our R&D office and our prototyping, development, and engineering laboratory, which constantly collaborate with designers to find innovative solutions based on concepts of ergonomics, aesthetics, and sustainability.
User Requirements

Thanks to our ongoing collaboration with industry designers, we are able to shape your requests starting from a careful analysis of the requirements.
Virtual prototyping
In Sedeo LAB we offer a VR experience to see the virtual prototype together.
In the virtual room, it will be possible to validate aesthetic choices and eventually make the first corrections before creating the physical prototype, making the development process more effective and faster.
Quick prototyping
In Sedeo LAB we create prototypes with our printers and with machinery suitable for producing pre-series of structures and supports. All of this in a short time and with certain costs.
Investment analysis and planning.
Together with our client, we evaluate the most suitable technical solution to achieve the customer’s target, both in terms of product and investment profile. Our experience often allows us to offer different levels of both product and investment to achieve the customer’s goal.
Manufacturing
Sedeo takes care of putting the developed product into production, respecting the agreed timelines and budgets with the customer.
Product certifications
In our internal Test lab, we are able to validate the solutions offered and verify compliance with the international standards required by the customer (or the reference market).
Finally the test is performed again at the independent CATAS laboratory, offering a certified product according to the standard agreed with the customer.
We also provide the necessary support for obtaining any further certifications.
